Yubin
Lu.As the main architect of AAAOM’s curriculum, Dr. Lu
leads the teaching of Chinese medicine theory and Chinese herbal medicine
courses. Dr. Lu received his medical training from the Shandong University
of Traditional Chinese Medicine, as well as his Ph.D. and Master’s degrees
of medicine. He has been an associate professor in the Department of Chinese
Medicine at Shandong University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. As a gifted
instructor with more than seventy books in print, Dr. Lu is currently conducting
research in the area of top clinical conditions with acupuncture and Chinese
medicine applications. His talented teaching style and tremendous knowledge
of traditional Chinese medicine have attracted many acupuncture and TCM
graduate students to his TCM theory and Chinese herbal medicine classes.

Xiangdong
Yugraduated from Shandong University
of Traditional Chinese Medicine, received his Ph.D. from China Academy
of Traditional Chinese Medicine, was a postdoctoral fellow in the Department
of Neurology, Xuanwu Hospital in Beijing. Dr. Yu has worked as an attending
physician and acupuncturist in the fourth Teaching Hospital of Shandong
University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Dr. Yu has more than ten years
of teaching and clinical practice experience. Dr. Yu has published more
than two dozen research papers and four books in the fields of TCM internal
medicine, TCM geriatrics, and Chinese herbal prescriptions. Dr. Yu is the

Stevenson, MD, is currently practicing at Cardio Medicine,
Ltd. He was a graduate of Northwestern University Medical School, Chicago,
and received his post-graduate training from Charles T. Miller Hospital,
Hennepin County General Hospital and University of Minnesota Medical School.
Dr. Stevenson is integrating traditional Chinese medicine into his conventional

Simona
Tolarova received her BS in Biology and her MD
from Charles University, Prague, Czechoslovakia. She is a postdoctoral
associate and research associate at the School of Medicine, University
of Minnesota, and has published many articles on the basic theory of medicine
and on clinical medicine. |

Xinrong
He earned her medical training from Shanxi Taiyuan
Medical College, and was a adjunct professor at the China Academy of Traditional
Chinese Medicine. Dr. He has been extensively trained in both Chinese medicine
and Western medicine, and is a member of the China Acupuncture Association.
Dr. He was apprenticed to Dr. He Chengguang when she was young. She has
practiced integrated Chinese medicine and Western medicine for thirty years.
She is a Tai Chi master of the Yang Style from a recognized Tai Chi family.
She is the author of many books and articles on traditional Chinese medicine,
was the demonstrator on the multi-media CD-ROM, "Complete Acupuncture,"
and is a licensed acupuncturist in Minnesota and a diplomate in Oriental
bodywork therapy from NCCAOM. She was also a first-prize winner at the
Second American International Conference of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. |

WEI
LIUgraduated from the Shandong University of Traditional Chinese
Medicine and received her MPH (Master of Public Health) in nutrition from
the University of Minnesota. She is a licensed acupuncturist under the
Minnesota Board of Medical Practice, a licensed nutritionist under the
Minnesota Board of Dietetics and Nutrition Practice, a diplomate in Chinese
herbology from NCCAM, and an item writer for the national certification
board of acupuncture and Chinese herbology. Dr. Liu has been teaching and
practicing traditional Chinese medicine for more than ten years and is
the author of five books on acupuncture and Chinese medicine for general
readers and the main author of a series of traditional Chinese medicine
textbooks and professional guides. She is also the author of more than
thirty articles on traditional Chinese medicine and nutrition and the reviewer
of the multi-media CD-ROM, "Complete Acupuncture." She teaches TCM dietary

Victor
Youcha, received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from
Northwestern Health Science University. Dr. Youcha’s credentials include
diplomate in acupuncture from NCCAOM, certified Chiropractic Sports Physician,
diplomate of National Board of Chiropractic Examiners, fellow of Acupuncture
Society of America, fellow of National Academy of Acupuncture and Oriental
Medicine, past president of Acupuncture Association of Minnesota, past
secretary of American Association of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine,
and past committee member of Minnesota Chiropractic Association. Dr. Youcha
operates a busy practice in both acupuncture and chiropractic.

Cheng
Chi. graduated from Yunnan College of Traditional Chinese
Medicine with his bachelor degree and master degree in Chinese medicine.
Dr. Chi had had taught at Yunnan College of Traditional Chinese Medicine
in China, International Institute of Chinese Medicine in New Mexico and
University of East and West Medicine in California. Dr. Chi has twenty-nine
years experience in Chinese medicine practice, teaching and research. He
is a Diplomate of Acupuncture from the NCCAOM and a licensed acupuncturist
under the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice. View

Li
Gu graduated from Beijing University of Traditional Chinese
Medicine, Deputy Secretary General of the China Acupuncture Association,
full professor at the China Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Dr.
Gu is a licensed acupuncturist in both Minnesota and California and a diplomate
in acupuncture from NCCAOM. He is the Editor-in-Chief of China Standard
Acupoint Charts, drafter of the China Acupuncture Points Standard, Special
Editor of the magazine, Traditional Chinese Medicine, and
author of numerous books and articles on traditional Chinese medicine.
Dr. Gu has practiced traditional Chinese medicine for over thirty years
and has received many national and international awards. He is an internationally
recognized scholar who has conducted seminars and clinical demonstrations
on traditional Chinese medicine in Japan, Italy, South Korea, Romania and
the United States. |

Daiyi
Tang graduated from Chengdu University of Traditional
Chinese Medicine with his bachelor degree and master degree in traditional
Chinese medicine. He attended Peking Union Medical College Hospital, China
Academy of Medical Science and received his Ph.D. in integrative Chinese
and Western medicine. Dr. Tang received direct advising from Dr. Zhu Chenyu,
a famous contemporary Chinese medicine physician in China and the architect
of the first TCM curriculum for Beijing University of Traditional Chinese
Medicine. Dr. Tang had taught at Southwest Acupuncture College and New
York College of Health Professions. Dr. Tang has published twenty five
papers, two books and translated nine books. View

Wen
Jiangreceived both her Bechelor's degree and Master degree
in acupuncture from Shandong University of Traditional Chinese Medicine
and her Ph.D. in acupuncture from Tianjin College of Traditional Chinese
Medicine. She follows professor Shi Xuemin during her Ph.D. study and investigates
classical needling techniques and professor Shi's quantitative approach
to needling techniques. She has been in acupuncture practice at the Fourth
Hospital Affiliated to Shandong University of Traditional Chinese Medicine
and Tianjin Weixie Hospital sinnce 1992. She has an extensive publication
list of needling techniques and application of acupuncture on gynecological

Walters has a Master’s degree in Health Services Administration
and focuses on the areas of operations, process improvement, provider relations
and contracting, provider credentialing, and operations ethics. Mr. Walters
is the Director of Operations in the Provider and Payer Services division
of Allina Health System. He served as a Provider Relations Director for
Allina and has held positions with one of Minnesota’s earliest providers
of managed mental health and substance abuse care services and Blue Cross/Blue
Shield of Minnesota. |

Hanreceived
both her Bachelor's degree and Ph.D. degree in acupuncture from Beijing
University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Additionally, she obtained
her Master degree of counseling in education from the University of Bristol,
the United Kingdom. She follows the famous acupuncture professor Li Xuewu
to study acupuncture for her Ph.D. degree. She has been an instructor and
clinician at the National Medicine Hospital affiliated to Beijing University
of Traditional Chinese Medicine and South West College of Oriental Medicine
in the United Kingdom since 1997. She has a wide range of publications
in the field of electroacupuncture, acupuncture treatment on depression,
needling techniques and acupuncture case reports. View

Bleau, MD, received his B.S. degree in biochemistry from
Northern Michigan University. After graduating from Wayne State University
School of Medicine in Detroit, he completed both a Family Practice Residency
in Saginaw, Michigan and a Fellowship in Primary Care Faculty Development
at Michigan State University. After one year in private practice, he attended
a fellowship in Health Informatics at the University of Minnesota. He then
started working at HealthPartners as a family physician. Always interested

Decker
graduated and received his B.S. in pharmacy from the University of Minnesota.
He had a three year acupuncture training from Northern School of Chinese
Medicine. He is a pharmacist licensed by the Minnesota Board of Pharmacy
and an acupuncturist licensed by Minnesota Board of Medical Practice. Currently,
he is a lead consultant and consulting pharmacist with Pharmerica and has
a private practice in acupuncture. Mr. Decker teaches Western Pharmacology. |

Charles
Liuobtained
his Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Minnesota
and worked in the computer industry for more than twenty years. He took
"early retirement" from IBM in 1994 and has since devoted himself to the
study of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Taoist Health Regimen (Tai Ji
and Qi Gong) and Mind/Body Technology. Charles is currently a certified
Tui Na practitioner at Integrative Therapies, Assisi Heights in Rochester,
Minnesota. He also actively promotes a healthy life style as a Tai Ji and
Qi Gong instructor and works hard at trying to adhere to the Taoist Way
of Life, i.e., Non-Striving, Simplicity, Longevity, and Obeying Nature. |

Rand received
a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology with honors from the University
of North Dakota in Grand Forks, North Dakota. Dr. Rand then attended Northwestern
Health Science University and received a Doctor of Chiropractic degree

Dr. Rand is an instructor of anatomy and physiology. |

Zhang was trained as a medical doctor in Nantong Medical
School in China. He received Qigong training and started Qigong practice
in 1970s. Subsequently he received authentic Emei Qigong in a medical doctor’s
training program of integrated western medicine and traditional Chinese
medicine sponsored by the China Medical Association. Dr. Zhang has practiced
Qigong Tuina for several decades. He served his patients with the best
