I have had rheumatoid arthritis and a secondary illness, fibromyalgia, for several years. I was on 3-4 medications and still, at times, had pain and severe fatigue. In the past ten years, I had sinus infection at least 2-3 times per year. Every time, my doctor would prescribe antibiotics, and sometimes I would use 3-4 rounds of different kinds of antibiotics, even steroids. I had irregular menstrual cycles for a long time which might have been related to an eating disorder in my teenage years. Then I was diagnosed with endometriosis and had surgery. That tells me Chinese medicine must do something. I went to TCM Health Center and had acupuncture and raw Chinese herbs regularly. I got pregnant on my 5th IVF. My doctor was very surprised how good my egg quality was and asked me what made the huge difference. I told him about the acupuncture, Chinese herbs and dietary advice I got from TCM Health Center.

I had severe menopause symptoms: hot flashes, night sweating, insomnia, mood swings, ... I was on hormonal replacements which were helpful, but after I was diagnosed with breast cancer, my doctor stopped me on the hormone replacements right way.
